We are delighted to invite you to participate in ‘Food for Change’.
Artists, Celebrities, Event professionals, Professional Models and people from different walks of life have come together to make an Amazing Diner Gala Evening. Fun, goodwill and great entertainment completely voluntary driven will had to the amazing hospitality provided by Hyatt regency.
Anaida, the pop singer is the Goodwill Ambassador for this event. The event will include a fashion show that will be choreograph by Sandeep Dharma with the music of renowned DJ Abhishek Mantri. The models will be a blend of socialite, affluent Pune family, CEO wives, and professional models. An auction of painting of Suhasini Kiloskar will be put on for sale to help raise more money for the charities during this event.
Every donor that makes a contribution to our NGO from 10 September to 5 October 2013 of amount Rs.5, 000 will be entitled to a dinner pass for 2 persons at Hyatt Regency, Viman nagar on October 5th, 2013. Single entry is also available at Rs. 3,000 only. Money will go directly to our NGO to support the great work we do. You can also ask your friends to make a donation to our cause and use this as an opportunity of spending some time together.
About the Joy of Giving Week
Joy of Giving Week is a special week which aims to bring people from all walks of life; together to get involved with a cause(s) of their choice. It will be a concerted effort across companies, celebrities, business heads, NGOs, schools, colleges, and the ‘general public, to promote “giving”. The Week is slated from 2nd October to 8th October 2012, and we expect more than 1 crore Indians from all over India to participate and get engaged in “acts of giving”.
Bapu Trust is a national organization, working locally in Pune city providing urban community mental health services in slums of Pune. The vision of the UCMH program is to create emotionally sustainable communities using local resources. We provide individual and group counselling services, nutritional, lifestyles and medicinal support, free of cost in the slums, through our band of skilled and dedicated grassroots staff. Our group therapy are very successful and has benefitted single woman’s group, adolescent girls, care givers of mentally retarded children, pregnant women, victims of domestic violence & children and youth at risk. Our work in the community is documented and aired in conventions at National & International Level, as a role model in Psycho- social care. To promote the importance of mental peace towards good mental health, we hold quarterly activities, under the Banner of PUNE FOR PEACE CAMPAIGN which includes road shows, drum beats , poster campaigns and other activities. How can you help?
We are seeking a donation of Rs 5,000 to us. This will entitle you to pass for 2 persons for the ‘Food for Change’ event. Donations are to be made by cheque, DD, net-banking or online. We will send you details once you express an interest in supporting us. Cheques have to be made favoring “BAPU TRUST FOR RESEARCH ON MIND & DISCOURSE” and donors will be provided with 80G receipts.
